Taking attendance manually is a waste of time. If a class has 100 students, the teacher must call the names of students one by one and mark their attendance. Organizations ask their employees to fill a timesheet prepared using Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software. Instead of taking attendance manually or making workers fill timesheet, the person who takes attendance can create an attendance form with FormsBook form builder and share the form’s URL with the people/group of users. Here’s a sample attendance form built with FormsBook:
Our sample attendance form has a text field to enter the name and roll number. It has a dropdown list to choose a class. The list has the values – 11, 12, First Year, Second Year, Third Year. The form has a checkbox to confirm that the person/student has attended today’s class and a date selector to select the current date. What happens when the attendance form is filled and submitted? FormsBook will send an alert email to the email ID of the person who has created the form. This person must log in to his/her FormsBook account to see the attendance. FormsBook enables you to create a custom shareable attendance form like the one we’ve shared above and customize its appearance.
