A building or an apartment may require maintenance. For example, the tile of a bathroom can crack or the water may leak from the tap handle. To get things fixed, you’ll either have to call the plumber or tiler or contact the building owner/in charge and request him/her to arrange the tiler/plumber. An alternative way of accepting maintenance requests is to create a maintenance request form with FormsBook and share its link with each flat owner/tenant. When maintenance is required for his/her apartment, the tenant/owner must simply fill and submit the form. Here’s a simple maintenance request form built using FormsBook:
The above sample form has two dropdown lists – one to select the apartment number and another to choose the building. Why choose a building? Well, a residential society may have many buildings named A, B, C, etc. The form has a large textbox where the user must enter the reason why maintenance of their apartment is required. There are two textboxes to enter the contact number and the name. When the tenant/apartment owner fills and submits the form, FormsBook will send an email to the person in charge of the building/building owner/form creator. You can create a similar maintenance request form or a different form within few minutes with FormsBook.
